Meet The Founder/CEO

Tiffany Wright

Tiffany is a proud mother with a deep passion for community and empowerment. Her journey in entrepreneurship began with the founding of Beyond Measure, a nonprofit organization still in its early stages, created with the vision of developing meaningful programs for adults with developmental disabilities.

Recognizing a broader need in her community, Tiffany expanded her mission by launching the Black-Owned Business Community (BOBC) Network. She saw the lack of representation, resources, and economic opportunities available to Black entrepreneurs, and set out to create a space where minority-owned businesses could not only start but also thrive.

Through her dedication, BOBC has grown into a hub for mentorship, resources, and advocacy, attracting members from across state lines who are eager to benefit from its programs and growth potential.

Black Owned Business Community (BOBC) formally known as Black Owned in Berkeley County, was founded in 2022 with a mission to empower and uplift minority-owned businesses in Berkeley County, West Virginia, and beyond. Recognizing a critical gap in support for Black business owners, the BOBC team transformed a local initiative into a thriving regional movement. Through strategic networking events, comprehensive business programs, and invaluable partnerships, BOBC has fostered a supportive ecosystem for minority entrepreneurs.

Today, with the support of a committed leadership board, volunteers, and membership base, BOBC continues to expand its reach-building bridges between local businesses and national organizations, paving the way for sustainable growth, visibility, and long-term success for minority entrepreneurs.
